    “I was 16 when I first started my add maths tuition with Miss Nahlina who was recommended to me by a friend. I was a scared young kid who was terrified of meeting new people and a potentially scary person teaching me a subject I was losing hope in. But that wasn't the case at all. Miss Nahlina was my teacher and she was also my friend and we laughed and joked about everything and nothing while she still drilled the importance of practice, practice, practice when it came to my work. I was hopeless because I didn't find joy in doing any of the work. But there was joy in doing the work with teachers who become your friends and even confidantes.    I was taught by her for 2 years and I remember polishing off about 9 add maths books before SPM with her help. When it was most hopeless, she believed in me when I couldn't and that helped shape me from just a student of maths to someone who thoroughly appreciated the subject. It's what made me want to take maths for A-levels and work even harder for it so I could get into my dream university.    When I was 19, I had the opportunity to teach primary school kids at the tuition centre alongside Miss Nahlina, Mr Ram and Mr Pratap. I saw first-hand how much the kids adored them for their sense of humour and friendliness and how diligently the kids worked because they genuinely wanted to make their teachers proud. I saw kids who went through difficult learning patches be taught the value of discipline and hard work in anything from Standard 4 English to Form 4 Add Maths.     I've never absorbed as much knowledge as I did in school, the ambience of the center has always been jolly and relaxing.Mr Rum and Ms Nahlinah are teachers that can always vibe with you and the learning environment has never been boring.  Mr Rum has always made class chilling and learning with him help me love all three subjects, even helped me score all of them and Mr Rum is super duper serious with the little work he gives you ,so you don't wanna mess that side of him. 😉 Ms Nahlinah is fun and has amazing stories to tell while we learn so add maths class wouldn't be so draining. I may not like add maths but her teachings did help me alot due to the extra classes and extra work to make us remember the easy ways she teaches.     Pro-Ed center provides a comfortable and good environment for learning. There are proper tables and chairs, good lighting and also a good cooling system. The teachers are extremely friendly and are willing to answer any questions you have. In my opinion, communication is very important in order to gain knowledge. I often ask a lot of questions related and unrelated to the topic we're learning and the teachers are always sporting :D. This makes the learning sessions enjoyable. Therefore I was in need of a tutor who would help me comprehend the concepts rather than memorizing them which i had been so accustomed to and after meeting almost 3 different tutors, I finally found mr. Ram whom not only helped me to understand but also made my interest for Biology to grow along with the rest of the science subjects.     When I first enrolled into Pro-Ed Education Centre, I did not expect much. At first, I thought I would be just given homework and be taught like any other tuition centre. However, I soon realised that that wasn't the case. I found the atmosphere of the centre to be relaxing and the teachers that taught me were attentive, skilled and friendly. It was very easy to communicate with them in and out of class and learning retention was also instilled along the way.   The friendly environment helped me make good friends at Pro-Ed Education Centre and I was also able to grow a closer bond with the other teachers, Ms. Nahlina, Mr. Pratap and Mr. Ram. Thanks to this, I was able to learn easier, and I could have moments where I was able to relax, have a laugh and take a break without stressing out myself too much.    Before I joined this centre, I hated chemistry as I did not comprehend how it worked nor could I understand its contents. As most people would say it, it was Greek to me. Though that was the case, I was soon able to grasp the concept of chemistry and quickly catch up with the rest thanks to my teacher, Mr. Ram. Mr. Ram managed to patiently explain every detail to me in a simplified manner. Because of him, I was able to achieve an A from an E on my chemistry subject. It was a huge deal to me and I grew to love the subject as well. In a class with a fairly good number of students, he was able to give each and every one of us his undivided attention and sometimes even one-to-one coaching.
