Founded by experienced teachers after more than a decade of successful teaching, Pro-Ed intends to be a Tutoring Centre like no other. After much observation on the state of affairs on education and the true needs of parents and students, we have come up with our own philosophy and point of view on the tutoring process.

Our Philosophy
We keep it simple. Quality over quantity is what we strive for. Thus, unlike the general business model where class sizes are maximised for high profits, at Pro-Ed we have a totally different approach to teaching. We offer a more personalised environment with a limited intake of students. We know each of our students personally and the hurdles they face. We are able to solve student’s problems with customised solutions intended for that particular student. No one leaves our lesson without having a full understanding of what was taught. We’re interactive. Our teachers are always reachable and students are able to ask questions regarding their tuition or school work any time of the day without the need to wait for their next class.
Our Founders
PARSHURAM JEYASINGAM
Hailing from Petaling Jaya, Mr. Ram, as his students fondly refer to him is a teacher with more than 16 years of experience teaching and specialising in General Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, from Primary to Secondary schooling and A-Levels. He spends a great deal of time and effort in getting to know his students individually and understanding their problems in order to customise solutions for them. Learning is given a fun spin and insights are given to bridge the gap between the knowledge students learn and why they learn them as well as its application in daily lives. Understanding the subjects are given importance and unnecessary memorising is not practiced. Complex topics and concepts are simplified to provide an easy pathway towards mastering the given subjects.
As one of the founders of Pro-Ed, constant improvement is given a priority and providing a hands on quality control is constantly maintained for a premium and superior learning experience.
NAHLINA BALAKRISHNAN
A teacher for the past 15 years and a qualified chartered accountant, Ms. Nahlina has been a dedicated tutor who specialises in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Accounts. She’s good at handling tough questions and concepts and has generated many straight A’s students year after year. She is able to tackle and solve problems for each student in an individualised manner. Classes and students are monitored and goals are set within Pro-Ed’s curriculum to ensure speedy learning takes place and all objectives set are achieved in a timely manner for the examinations.
She is continuously interacting and helping her students with their understanding and questions throughout the day as students are able to reach her anytime through main messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS and for project based questions, via e-mail.
In summary, she’s a dedicated tutor who is relentless in driving her students towards success and takes pride in the job at hand.
PRATAP TIRUNAUKARASU
Mr. Pratap is Pro-Ed’s in-house specialist for Primary Schooling students. He’s vastly experienced in dealing with younger students and helping them to overcome their hurdles. Time and again, he has proven to improve results of students who were deemed too weak by others. This is due to his ability to create lesson plans where he builds a good foundation of understanding for all the students’ weak areas and at the same time keeps them up with their lessons at school. He is well known amongst his students and their parents for regularly having extra classes for those who need it, and he does this at no extra cost.
In summation, he’s the guy you go to when you require someone dedicated and patient to cultivate students in a positive manner and bring up their grades and understanding.
